My info is different. The only decision left to be made
by Audi is where to locate the plant in Brazil. The plant
will be producing the (golf-like) A3 for export, with
a contract (with current distributor-Senna, Ayerton's
brother) for future sales in-country. If Audi & Senna can't
reach an accord, Audi has already announce that it will
sell the A3 in Brazil under the VW badge (as a Golf.)
The contract and ground work were etched in stone weeks before
the date of this article when the German Chancelor and his
enterage (sp) were in Brazil. BTW-Mercyless Benz will also
be manufacturing cars there.
