Congratulations!  I think you'll like it as much as I do.  I've had mine
for almost a year, and have had very few problems.  I burned a few quarts
of oil in the first 5k miles, until the engine loosened up a little.  It
will feel smoother the more you drive it.  The gas milage also improved.
I've found, by listening here, that there are a few simple things that you
can do to improve the car's performance.  I've gotten a throttle body
modification, which has improved the low end torque somewhat, but for about
$400.00.  I've also increased the tire pressure to 40psi., which really
helped the stability around high speed turns.  Generally, I drive it pretty
hard, and enjoy it more every day.  I can't wait for bad weather to return,
so I won't look (Audiphiles avert eyes here) longingly at the M3 for
several more months, until dry warm weather returns.
