Re: Fastest stickiest Audi? Opinions welcome.
Funny, Beemers always felt like they were suspended on big rubber blocks to
me. And steered through one as well. WAS a P-A mech once. Maybe just
prejudice.
Now that I am used to it, I find myself doing things with my '84 4kq in
corners just by standing on the loud pedal that I never dreamed of getting
away with before or even trying in another car. You CAN step out the rear
on an AWD!
I would like to find a car that is as light and direct as the 4k, with alot
more HP (and a lot less miles-217k) and a slightly more sophisticated
susp/quattro system. Or was the "manual" AWD on my '84 the better system
for handling purposes?
What difference would one expect from the solid rear of the FWD and the ind.
rear of the AWD?
Thanks for all the responses folks. Imagine I'll be in the market this
Fall. If you are selling...
