Not so true. I have a 92 S4 that has factory wood trim. All of the 93's I
looked at had Carbon trim then it seemed to go back to wood in 94 and on.

Carbon is only on the first year S4's unless you've gone to the dealer
and bought the trim parts and replaced the wood.
