I don't know what type of rubber donuts you guys had, but when one of mine
went on the coupeQ, (and put that huge hole in the muffler), it *definitely*
had an embedded chain within it, about 2-3mm in width...had to notice, unless
you are inspecting it thoroughly! It was rusted, and probably broken after
air, water, and salt got into it...
Just reporting my experiences...and I'm looking at my broken one right now (I
try to save as many original pieces for later cross referencing)
