The dealer is definitely trying to take you for a ride.  I had two of 
these replaced about 1 1/2 years ago.  They were about $75 for the front 
and about $60 for the rear, each.  No where near the $168.  I do remember 
that the dealer said they were going to start selling those things in 
sets, so maybe the $168 was for TWO doors, not one.  You better check 
another dealer.
