V8/Bose question second try

Hi all,
I was toying with the idea of picking up a used Bose system (from a listmembers
wrecked S6).  I was hoping to install it in my 5Kcstq.  I was also hoping to go
to a roof mounted Fuba antenna (the short slanted type).  I know on my old V8
and on the S6 the antennae are in the windows BUT that there was a Service
Bulletin out on the V8s that allowed for the installation of a rear fender
motorized antenna like the 5KCSTQs.  Does anyone know if the Bose will work with
this motorized antennae on its own or was something special done to make it
work? Or can it work with the Fuba like on VWs and Audi wagons of late?
