ABS

All,
        For anyone with a 1989-91 200 or over all gen-knoeledge, how do the
ABS respond at the very end of coming to a halt?   All of the sudden mine
are shimmying, but they didn't do this before.    Of course with ABS off,
there is no shymmying.    I guess my question is this: Did my ABS not work
before, or did something wrong just pop up?   TIA.
