Welcome to the real world. Where you previously went to the dealer,
you will now AVOID them at all cost! Learn to DIY and you can cut
the cost in half.

BUT - what's to say that you can't take this car out on a country
road, do three panic stops from 60+ PMH, and see oif the pits don't
machine themselves off??????????????????? If it doesn't work, you
haven't lost a thing.

But if the pads are down to 30% or less of their original thickness,
you should probably change them anyway. Rear pads and rotors for my
1990 200 were less than $200 at Blaufergnugen, but the front ones are
the expensive ones (at least on my car...) Labor was trivial for the
rears...except for turning in the pistion on the calipers. Check the
archives for info on that...and make the tool needed.

I have used a four-headlight setup with common GE halogen lights on
other cars, and found it considerably superior to the stock 200
lights. If I were going to do a low-cost swap out of the "sucky" 200
lights, this would be the easy way.

GLEN!!! Don't DO it!! All those stinkin' things do is get wet and
abrade your paint. You will be sorry if you run one for long. Get
some of the clear plastic stuff and put it on the hood if you want to
fight rock chips. One gent on the Z-car group is having his front
end repainted after running a bra for a couple of years. A few rock
chips is better than a racing stripe worn all the way around your
front end!
