FYI, my '89 200q has 215/45-17s on 8x17 wheels (with stock alignment, even)
and I didn't have to do ANY bodywork to it whatsoever!  Of course, I picked
the offset very, very carefully and it's different front-to-rear so I can't
rotate the tires without having them dismounted...
