I had an idea night before last when I saw an early 90's 5series
bimmer...
The car has the dual round headlights, one of which is the projector
beam. both are bosch lamps. (all I need is to get the part#) From the
outside, looking at a parked car you know, it appeared that the lamps had
individual buckets and adjusters. Now it's hard to confirm since the
grill was in the way....but if this is the case, it may be possible to do
something along the lines of getting a set of buckets and "making" them
work in a different app, then using you choice of 5.25" lamps.

We'll keep looking....
As far as an audi with dual round headlights from the factory, I
personally have never seen one...doesn't mean it doesn't exist tho.

BTW, anybody remember the early VW scirocco, like 75-77ish? That had a
dual round set up, and I would be surprised if that were pretty close in
dimension to an early coupe.
