Re: IU & Brakes




In Germany the brake design of a car has to meet the
specifications according to the german law §41 StVZO
and also EU guideline 71/320 EWG and ECE guideline
13 and 78.
When you take a look at these regulations there isn't
any chance to overpower your brakes with the engine
power.
BTW Phil , the TUEV has nothing to do with this.
The TUEV is just one of many organisations to check
if a car is built according the above mentioned
specs.
