First of all, when you reply -- trim the original content! Just include
the things that you want to make point at. If your post can stand on its
own (like this one), then don't include the bloody orignal text at all!
Anyway. I'd say that bureaucracy at work. Sample scenerio: if officer Bub
got call on a life-death emergency, and en route he meets someone
speeding. What does he do? Probably get the speeder...
We the Omaha residents have always complained how it seems that these
coppers are everywhere to get speeders the tickets, but doesn't do
anything about "policing." Like some others, Omaha's crime rate is going
up -- yet these officer seems not to be there. Yet from the figures they
have released on speeding tickets, it seems they've getter *better and
better* on getting the speeders. This has gone so bad that one of the
local station actually interviewed the police chief on the subject some
time ago. Of course he denies that he assigns more force on speeders, etc.
BUT OF COURSE EVERYONE KNOWS HE'S LIEING THROUGH HIS TEETH. HE DOESN'T
EVEN ADMIT THE EXISTANCE OF THE SPEEDER TICKET QUOTA -- which everyone
knows it exists. Pure scum bucket.
I'd say U.S. government is doomed -- it has no interest in the people, but
to itself (specifically, the "politicians"). I don't think the republic
form of government works in this modern day anymore. I'd say we revolt and
put a democratic government in place!
(: Well, I think I got off the track somewhere here...
