Calendars again - finally some info from Audi
HAudi,
This information comes from a letter dated 19 August and which arrived
October 9 - ah - the joys of snail-mail.
Today's snail-mail brought this which I quote in part:
"As in previous years, we are producing a calendar of historic Auto Union
vehicles to accompany you, and your friends, through the year. The 1997
calendar will be dedicated to classic cars of the 1950s and 1960s. The
calendar contains 12 colour pictures which are the title pages of magazines
from the period, featuring DKW's F89 model, the 3=6, and the Auto Union 1000
- to name just a few. The Hobby Motor scooter will, of course also be
there, along with the first generation Audis - the rising starts of the era.
The size of the calendar is 34 by 44 cm."
Material skipped.
"We would also like to use this opportunity to mention another special
offer, which is valid until 31 December (subject to availability):
Sterling silver pins with the four rings emblem, sized
7 mm by 13 mm, at DM 11 each."
Unfortunately, this section was hand marked "Sold Out". :-(
In addition to this letter was a single sheet of old magazine covers. I'll
forward this sheet on to Darin so that, if he will, he can scan it and get
it on the web for you to see. I am assuming that these thumb-nail photos
are reduced from the actuals which will appear on the calendars.
How about it, Darin?
Additionally, I received one more check today from Berni Strub. Are there
any more coming? Unless I hear otherwise thaty more orders are coming, I'll
send off the order by Monday next.
