How's this for stealth radar detector mounting? A former co-worker who used
to live in Canada told me he used to have a 5ktq with a remote radar
detector. He got pulled over one day by a law enforcement officer who was
sure there was a detector in use. The display was mounted in the ashtray
which could be closed if necessary and there are so many things under the
hood the officer wasn't able to recognize the antenna.
