According to the Bentley service manual, the color codes of the wires at the
rear amplifier are:

Inputs:

   Red/Blue = +12v
 Yellow/Red = +12v switched from radio
      Brown = Ground
        Red = Left channel +
      Black = Left channel -
Black/White = Right channel -
       Blue = Right channel +

Outputs:

  Black/Blue = Left woofer +
   Red/Green = Left -
  Red/Yellow = Left tweeter +
 Blue/Yellow = Right tweeter +
Black/Yellow = Right -
  Blue/Green = Right woofer +

The color codes for the wires on my late '86 car are consistent with the
color codes for the '87,'88 cars. The Bentley does not show the Duo-sound
unit for the '86 5ktq.

The color codes for '87,'88 5ktq are:

Inputs:

        Red = +12v (goes directly to amp and power antenna)
      Brown = Ground
      White = Switched 12v from radio
Black/white = Right channel - (also goes to headphone unit)
      Black = Left channel - (also goes to headphone unit)
       Blue = Right channel + (to headphone unit) goes to amp as Blue/Red
        Red = Left channel + (to headphone unit) goes to amp as Red/Green

Note: Right and Left channel - are tied together inside the headphone unit

Outputs:

Black/White = Right -
Blue/Yellow = Right woofer +
 Blue/Green = Right tweeter +
  Red/Green = Left -
 Red/Yellow = Left woofer +
      Black = Left tweeter +

The connectors accept standard 1/4" spade lug crimp connectors. The amp is a
pain to remove since one of the nuts is hard to reach. I replaced the rear
speakers with a pair of 6x9's which I screwed to the deck under the existing
holes.
