My wipers do this intermittently too. I am convinced it is the stalk mounted
switch because I can restore normal operation (wipers return instead of
sticking at any old spot) by wiggling the switch. Since I can clear up this
annoyance this way so far, I have not yet replaced the switch to prove out my
theory-but will do so once it gets too far gone...deffered maintenance ya
know?

My .02 worth is to wiggle the switch and see if that returns the wipers to
normal operation...I am curious though too if any other listers have
experienced this and/or corrected said problem.
