They don't, apparently.  But bear in mind that the BTCC cars are differently 
laid out.  Most of the braking system is in the passenger compartment, there's 
no A/C, etc.

The only thing under the bonnet is the engine.  The air scoop/ram is _huge_, 
and the engine is cross-flow.  "No constriction on moving gases" seems to be 
the design idea.
