What does this hose do?

Hi friends,

	While playing around with my intercooler to throttle body hose the PM,
idle hands are the devil's playground; I found a small vacuum/pressure hose
just lying on top of the intake manifold. It comes off a small nipple on the
bottom of the TB and runs under the "bellows" hose, across the passenger
side(US) of the car and disappears up the right fender of the car. I can't find
it in Bentleys, the car has always started and run well. I reconnected it with
its tiny hose clamp that had fallen off and tightened it up. The car still
starts and runs well, but my boost seems to have lost .1 bar. I guess this goes
to the wastegate freq. valve??? Does anyone know for sure??
