Water Thermoswitch
Just an observation to those wondering whether to replace the switch or
watch it alternate daily between life and death.
When my water temperature guage first showed the erratic nature of the
switch, about a year ago, I declined to replace the switch. As the guage
started to show zero more often than the normal temperature range, my
mileage declined. I changed the switch about a month ago. Immediate
increase in gas mileage of about one-half of a mile per gallon. I attribute
that to what another lister mentioned....that the computer provides
increased gas volume to what it perceives to be a very cold engine.
For what its worth .....and based on your annual mileage it may be worth it
to change the switch now.
