update and a booboo

Yeah, what else.
Got new rotors from PAP today, new pads from Imparts, so I installed
one side. When I was done, I pumped the brake pedal a bit to
lock the rotor in place, and noted that the pedal felt soft.
When I got around to the other side, the piston was way out
of the caliper, and fluid everywhere. I was able to get the
piston back in, but did I blow a seal or something?
I'd like to get this on so I can at least get the car back
in the garage before winter hits, as I don't expect it to be
on the road anytime soon!
I stopped that and went to the front of the car, trying to
tackle the crank pulley hex bolts. I remembered someone's
tip that you can pound in the same tool you use for the
CV bolts, and I was able to hold the pulley with a screwdriver
while I levered off the bolts.
At this point I'm not quite sure how the belt goes on, though
I think I do. I'm also not sure how to set the timing, so
I'm going to wait until one of my 2 mechanics can come over
and look at it. Either that or when I get bored :)
All the while, I SHOULD have been studying for the GMAT on
Saturday. There's always tomorrow I guess.
