Muffled roaring sound on turning right?

Well, so I've this Audi 100 1990 with 120,000 Miles, and
recently, it has developed a sound like an airplane taking off
whenever I turn the wheel even slightly to the right...

The sound seems to be coming from the front of the car.

I first thought it was some small hole in the muffler, but 
in that case, why only when I turn the wheel to the right?
Happens at all speeds, slow and fast.

I took this to the dealer a month ago, but the sound was a bit
low, and he found nothing wrong...

Any ideas what could be going wrong here?
