sport quattro & S2 (was RE: ur-quattro)

Wow. Speaking of these (sport quattros), how many exist worldwide? The
one at PIR blew my socks off. It was stuck behind me for about half a
lap, and then easily overtook me on the front straight. I tried to
follow it, but it went to the far *left* of the turn-in cones (not even
throught them!!) on turn three and was out of sight by the time I
started breaking... all I can say is wow.

I didnt know what the sport was (now I do) but the only other audi that
I dont know really what it is is the s2 (yes, I have read dan's faq, but
im still confused). What is the S2?
