In reference to the fudging of the dates......having worked for several
dealers......
#1......biggest reason is quota
#2......incentive programs
#3......salesman quota....VERY unethical
#4......financial incentives for you


For the dealer to fulfill a certain quota, it means more cars delivered to
his dealership the next month.  In the case of Audis.....this could mean
being a dealership or not for some.  

Good luck in finding out why.....they usually can't remember.....
