You only need it to release the caps w/the cross slots. DO ONE AT A TIME. The 
plungers like to jump out if you turn the pump upside down without an end cap.
The hand driver and a hammer are the only tools you need.

USE THE TORQUE WRENCH for putting the end caps back on the pump.
