Sounds perfectly accurate to me. The issue of "how" the diff is locked may
be bothersome, but it does lock, "electronically."
But, the differential does not lock at all, in fact there is no locking mechanism in the differential whatsoever. So-called EDL does nothing more than braking the slipping wheel. This is NOT a differential lock, electronic or otherwise.
