What are these 'shock mounts' you've been talking about.  The shocks go 
 into the struts and are held in place by a large screw cap.  The strut 
 has the spring lower retainer built in and the top of the spring goes 
 into a upper retainer.  At the top of the strut, there is a strut 
 mount made of rubber with a bearing centre - is this the part you are 
 referring to?  If so why are the fronts $20 and the rear $110.  I paid 
 about GBP20 each for mine.
