A4 Duo

        I see an interesting Audi from Complete Car Mag. Audi plan to
introduce A4 Avant Duo in 1998.
 It is a hybridge Tdi+electric motor. It has a realworld battery in the
trunk. This adds extra 300 Kg to the car
 Below 50 mph, it  is driven by motor,above that or in full-throttle, the
TDi come in.  To charge batt. we have
 two choices,one is to use TDi as an engine generator,the batt is fully
charged after 100 miles of driving,
Another way is to use external electric source.
        But if someone crash into Duo's back,what will happen to that 250 Kg
of batt ? explode ?
