Ur-quattro brake question #2

Hi folks,

Okay. things are starting to become clearer (thanks, Phil). Apparently there
was a window during which Audi used the 23mm master cylinder (443 611 021)
with the dual piston calipers. This is the setup I currently have on my car -
443 611 021 master cylinder, dual piston front calipers, stock rears.

My question now is did Audi change the brake servo when changing to the larger
master cylinder (447 611 021)? I'm contemplating installing S4-style rear
brakes (38mm piston caliper, vented rotor, etc). Although the 443 master
cylinder will keep up, I'd like to use the 447 master cylinder for a nice
firm pedal. However, if it means a new brake servo and possibly hydraulic
pump, I'll pass.

Did anyone read the brake pad shootout in EC? They said the Ferodos were
the best. They had MetalMasters and Pagids in the test, and the Ferodos
kicked their butts.

Later,
