[Bruce's assessment of the MM brakes]
I don't really know what bad pads mean since the last factory (Jurid) ones
lasted a long time for me. Too long.
I don't find the MM's to be that bad. They do stink if you really
aggressively use them. But they have worked dry or wet for me. Much better
than the factory ones which used to not have ANY effect when all soggy in
drenching rain. Well they will work by about the 3rd pedal push. By then
there could easily be Stained Seat Phenomenom.
The MM's are pretty dust-free. Quiet. And work on the street. Will probably
give you a heart attack on the track. But have worked decently even when
cool for me. Lows around 40's. Don't know if they like snow or not yet.
(1st winter for them).
But I see that on this list. The pads are either vilified or glorified.
I'll be running on these pads for a while. Guess I better get comfortable
with them.
