PROJECTOR FOG LIGHTS FOR COUPE QUATTRO

One fog lite is cracked on my '90 Coupe Quattro, and the other one is pretty
stone chipped.  I have done some measuring, an it looks like some of these
new projector-style fog lights will fit in the underpanel cutout in place of
the 
OE lites.

Has anybody installed these on an 80/90/Coupe; will they truly fit?  What is
the 
quality of the light distribution; equal or better than OE?
