There is one method that is used here by some totally unscrupulous types,
who I would never have anything to do with, have never met, spoken to, or
have even heard of them.
The process only works when there is a similar car available in your market
then it goes like this,
1 Bring your desired car into the country in as many pieces as necessary
for it not to be siezed etc
2 Obtain a VIN from wrecking yard
3 Swap VIN- I'm sure if you look around you'll find a body shop who is
expert at this, its a very common practice with stolen vehicles
4 Register your rebuilt "totalled" car
While the process lacks a lot of things & the resulting car probably doesnt
have the resale value it should, you do get to drive what you want.
