Doherty can attest to the fact that the M3 can dance a q in a lot of
conditions other than the dry.......  He got chased down very quickly in the
rain at least once  (good rain tires those pilots)....  However, with pilots
on, in the dry, Susan Anderson with the 90q4dr (G60's and R1's) got the equal
of the M3 in the dry, before the brake bleed, and since have driven am M3 at
grattan WITH R1's in the dry, with the lotus club, nary a pass in 3
outings.......  q's are great cars in their execution of AWD, however, in the
field of hiperformance, you need to add a LOT of HP before the AWD becomes a
serious advantage, the Sport q is just the start of that HP.....  Put a q
club event into a lotus club event, and humble pie is quickly consumed ....
  BTDT, and still not enough.....  I can run with my brothers Stealth tt
equal up, but he paid 16 for the car and it is bone stock.....  My list of
mods (ex and present)would fill a harddrive.....  Some of the posts here on
the "competition" just don't add up to reality all the time....  A car is
only what it is, no more......  Still workin on that ultimate q, almost
there, but doubt that it still won't be beat till the 400++hp level is
reached....  And suspension mods, and big brakes come with that....   Or I
could just bag it, go to the Talon list and become a sinner.....  Nah, I'll
stick it out some......
