Re: Repair bulletins

Igor, I would like a little more info on the tech bulletins you describe.
 Several
years ago when I purchased my '90 Coupe I got the bound service bulletins
for 1989 and 1990; this included ALL bulletins issued by Audi during that
year, NOT just the ones specific to the '89 or '90 model year (which is my
impression of what you describe). I also got on their periodical tech
bulletin
subscription service, which gave me periodical new bulletins during the year.
I stopped this after it appeared there were no new bulletins applicable to my
'90 Coupe (was a FLOOD of ones whe the V6 appeared in the 100).

Just was curious if what you are describing is the bulletins just for a
particular
calendar year or ALL bulletins issued for your model year car. If it's
calendar
year, one year will not do you too much good; bulletins get issued all the
time
after manufacture, NOT just the year the car was built. Thanks.

I had gotten them from AoA Customer Relations. Judging by my chicken scratch

on the front cover, the phone # is: 800-822-2834, option "3" (Liz, if she is

still there). It is an extremely useful book, a virtual quintessence of
typical breakdowns and their repair procedures for one's car particular
model/year. It helped me a lot. Good luck.
