Re: Bose Quality

Hah Hah Hah. Well he did, does, and probably always will. It's mid fi
dreck for ....(semi-cognitive rant suppressed) mmmmf! mmmmmf!.... not
truly good sound.

customers will say to me "the speakers by that MIT guy"... and I have to
tread very lightly over their advertising induced preconceptions (Bose is
Best...Bose is Best...Bose is Best...Bose is Best...Bose is Best...Bose is
Best...Bose is Best...Bose is Best...Bose is Best...) in order to help them
find out for themselves how good recorded sound can be.

BTW Bart - in a car, despite the high ambient sound level, you can still
hear into the music below that ambient noise. I am sure most of us
audinauts do the same thing - turn radio off for "spirited" driving. I'll
actually make a decision on the way home - tires and engine or classical on
NPR?

My tenderest sympathies for those whose hearing has been damaged by careless
supervision, bombs, jets, etc. Often while it was happening it was not
known and there was nothing they could do about it.

Audi content: coupes have a groove around the rear parcel shelf which fits
3/4" plywood ... :-)
