FYI

Ran across an interesting book on the history of Rallying
in Borders Books in Portland, OR. The book is
called "Rallying - 21 years of World Championships"
by David and Amanda Cambell

It has a short section on Audi's entry into Rallying
and some interesting driver information regarding
Michelle Mouton and Walter Rohls battles  before
Walter signed on with Audi. Apparently Walter
was not to keen on a "woman" winning a rally
event.

The book has some good pictures mixed in with some text,
and gives a different perspective to some of the problems
Audi had in Ralleying. It mentions some of the handling 
problems Audi had with the rally version of the
Sport Quattro "shorty" and other mechanical problems that
limited their success.
