Thank you for your not so subtle answer!!!!!!!
I stand by every word I said!!!!!!!!!
In my time (of course not nearly as long as yours!!!!!), I heard a lot of
b*&^% from people who swore by one way or another, I am also  familiar with
some of the military specs (of course not nearly as much as you!!!) and
regard them as a SPECIAL application. As for most of us the "normal people"
what I said is very correct. I humbly suggest that before you comment
please review the consumer report article done recently in the
field!!!!!!!!! I merely stated their results which my technical experience
confirms. 
I am not about to argue with you or anybody else about their personal
experience, its entirely a subjective matter!!!!!!!
I spend my time trying to be objective without PUTTING any body down (old
or young!!!!!!!!).
So please follow whatever your experience suggests, my letter was not
addressed to you personally nor was it meant  to offend you. Please also
remember that we "the lab people" are the ones that bring  you the special
ideas that we quattro nuts love to try.
