I personally don't have a turbo engine, but I don't believe a turbo is very 
different from the jet engines I used to work on before I got my degree:

GE T-58 split-shaft turboshaft engine, 26krpm max, 780C max egt (~1400F), 
Milspec 23699 100% synthetic oil, w/analysis (good for 1400 hp)

turbocharger, 50krpm (?) max, 1300F (?) max temp, Pennzoil (good for easy 
100 hp increase over NA)

a note:  the CR article did not mention or test any synthetic lubricant
