Those crazy Germans

NEW LONDON, Conn (AP)
A German tourist has learned that Interstate 95 is not the Autobahn. State 
police stopped Farbrice Tischhauser, 29, on Wednesday (10/30) after he was 
clocked going 105 mph on the interstate, which has a speed limit of 55 mph.

Tischhauser, who was driving a rental car, told troopers he was used to 
traveling on the famed Autobahn, where the minimum speed limit is 62 mph. 
He said he did not think he was doing anything wrong.

Who would ever confuse I-95 in Conn. with the Autobahn?! ;-) Maybe Farbrice 
has a Polo at home and was checking out the "performance" of his fleet 
Neon/Conturd . . .
