I started this thread a couple of months ago, when I noticed that my
car's pedal did not pull the throttle far enough to engage the WOT
switch. I jimmied it a little to make it work, and the results were
remarkable. It seemed like I had 20 more HP. Maybe I did since I could
now get the throttle open more than 50% of the way. The drawback was
that the secondary port opened too quickly, resulting in a very touchy
pedal feel.
Later, my mechanic fixed it correctly, and it is wonderful. Smooth pedal,
and all that power still there.
Check your cables for slack!
