Brake light on after pumping a few times

Hi all,

I think this has been discussed before... first of all, is this list archived?
Second, with the brake fluid at Max, pumping the brakes on my CQ 5 or
6 times causes the Brake light to come on. Serious? How expensive is it
to fix? Will it get worse, like will the light start coming on after each
brake application?
