Re: Synth Oil

In my garage I have an Audi motor with 152,000 HARD, miles. This motor
has seen alot of SCCA track events over its life. It was born and raised
on Mobil 1. It has seen life in Phoenix Arizona's hot summers, and South
Dakota winters.

I changed the Mobil 1 every 3.5-4k.

After removing the motor and installing a higher HP motor, I became
curious to see what the innerds of the "high miler" looked like?!?!
Mainly in an interested to see if all those $3.60 a quart, bottle of oil
was worth it!

The most suprising thing was the piston cylinders in the block...
visable were the "cross hatching" in the cylinder walls !!!!

Also the cylinders were micked and found even from top to bottom!!!
NO WEAR!!

This was a 152,000 mile motor!!!
Thay say seeing IS believing! I am convinced synthetic oil works and
keeps motor's AS NEW!
