apologies

Over the past few weeks there have numerous angry posts to the general list from
people DEMANDING apologies for whatever real or imagined slights and/or insults.
If you really feel the _offending_ post was intentionally offensive, then please
feel free to contact that person via private e-mail and tactfully state why you
think they ought not to have written what they wrote.

I couldn't care less about someone's political affiliation, sex, ethnicity,
nationality or if they want to get naked, paint themselvs blue and come running
from the hills in Scotland.  If you happen to be one of those people who do
care, then please try to keep it off the main list. Please.
