And since Bernie advocates evolution, "lights on with wipers", but not DRL's
who knows what his politics are anyway?  Don't assume you know.

Come on folks, let us TRY and keep the politics off the list.  It would
rapidly make it unreadable and obnoxious for most of us.  If every other
post had a Clinton joke or a stab at Ross Perot or some nastiness about Bob
Dole or a poke at *anyone* based on some generalized attitude ... how many
of us would bother to continue?.  (remember all the hurt feelings over the
Nascar thread..)

The "M&PK" thing is pretty damn offensive also.  When casting that net over
"all those other people" please don't forget that to "most other people" YOU
(and ME) are one of those "other people".  

I have pulled out on to the road with my lights off, cut people off in
traffic, forgotten to turn off my turn signal, driven slowly in front of
people in a hurry, forgotten to dim my high beams, and *just plain driven
like an idiot* so often I'm surprised I still get mad when "other people" do
it!

I prefer to get my politics in person.  That way the friend I'm discussing
them with can poke me in the eye at the appropriate moment, thus indicating
that I am obviously an extremely maladjusted, uninformed, illogical jerk in
the most socially acceptable manner!

*REQUIRED AUDI CONTENT*:
Think I'll add five or six more relays and build in nice "dim" DRL's and
automatic low beams with wipers for my coupe.  If it ever sails again!  Now
if only I could fix that loose nut behind the wheel.
