I'll second that statement! Recently my ex-wife killed her 86 5ks (not q) at
around 230k miles old...this was after putting over 100k on it over 2 years
with virtualy no maintenance. The death nail was bottoming it out and
rupturing the oil pan. She patched said oil pan and (not quite sure
how...rags I think) and kept driving it...running it out of oil completely on
several occasions...the car actualy lasted another several weeks this way
before it started to get a rod knock...just amazing! Having owned many high
milage cars I can absolutly concur that the Audi I5 is the best lasting and
most bullet proof of them all...
