It is very nice, in fact, I'm hoping to change my 95 90Q into one.  Did you
thrash it up any hills?  That's where I noticed it not being as fast as
my 1.8bar 86 5kCSQ.

Rumour has it that the 1.8T would be the car of choice for the local
Audi Rep... and that it wouldn't be a 'step down' from the V6.

Yes, I noticed that too.  I think I would get used to it soon enough.

For an auto, it did do well... seemed to pick a fairly sporty shift pattern
and stay in lower gears longer.

I think 170 or so just with a computer change, 190 or so tinkering
with the wastegate and for $$$$, 250 to 300!
