RE: KUQEFH-II update
Thanks for the 'accuracy update' - *and* 'doin' the math'. I'll be sure to list those JE pistons for sale as 2.3L if/when I run the ad again.
The Eurorace crank, if that is what you meant, is welded and reground - nasty. I don't mind a welded/reground cam so much, but these I5 lower ends are totally bulletproof as stock and I decided against the considerable extra expense and risk of the stroker crank, clearancing, etc, etc. I'm running a stock crank - just balanced. The stock ur-q cranks are forged and have beautiful rolled radiuses that are trashed when welded & reground. I did go with a head stud kit as well as main cap stud kit and race rod bolts & nuts - just makes sense to go with the best here, anything less is really a false economy. I sure as $h_t don't want to be repeating this job anytime in the near future!
Thanks again,
-glen
Glen,
Unless you stroked it that would be closer to 2.28 L with the 82mm
pistons. Course the forged 92.8mm crank Eurospec has will, with the 82mm
pistons yield a displacement of 2.45 L.

I still have a set of 5 new forged JE pistons for sale, 0.1000" overbore,
rings installed and full-floating pins and a matching, lightened crank,
all for the turbo I5, stock ur-q 7:1 compression. Brings the displacement
from 2.1L up to about 2.4L. These pistons are non-interference.
