Agreed. The Eurorace is welded and NOT recommended.  However; I was
referring to the crank Eurospec carries. The same crank, I believe, Mike
Tipton uses in his car. This crank is a real Audi Crank (not sure what
European model,
we didn't get it in the US) and according to Bruce at Eurospec is Forged
as is the 95.5 mm crank they carry. Kits with crank, rods, pistons, rings,
bearings and head gasket go for around $2000.
