Correct. All 200 autos were front drives. Audi felt that too much power would lead
to the torque steer/wheel spin, and therefore limited boost on those cars.
Any owner of a baaS 900T 5-speed would confirm that.

Oh yes, mine in the stock form was OK @ 1.3, but when I got it chipped to 2.0...
