Avon snow tires

Paul,

I know little about the Avon snow tires,
but Chris talked me into Avons for my regular
tires (eg: 205/50 VR15 CR 238s??).  Great tire
for the price, soft but grippy, long wearing,
good in the wet.

Let me know how the Avon snows work out, since 
i'll be needing some 195/60 or 185/65 snows
whgen I get tired (oh, a pun!) of dinging
the steel wheels with 185/55-15 Pirelli W210s
(which, BTW, have a nasty tendency to flat spot in
the cold).
